If only we had elected adults who cared about our children and not using them to enrich themselves and their donors. If only. Arizona. Deserves. Better. 2022.

This troll calls people “typical liberals” for blocking them and then *checks notes* blocks us because we replied with a picture of their Twitter account’s real-life alias saying “MaskUp.” A reminder that trolls have zero self-awareness or self-respect. Be better.

Mask in indoor settings should mean ALL EDUCATION BUILDINGS! Universal masking, vaccines, and HEPA units are all part of the multi-layered approach. What are we even doing?

Today’s #COVID19 dashboard update adds 6,043 cases and 164 deaths. Fight the spread by getting vaccinated or getting your booster (everyone 18 and up should). Masks, physical distance, washing hands and staying home if sick also reduce transmission. More: azhealth.gov/COVID-19

This is not sustainable and could have been prevented. Universal mask wearing in schools would help for starters. Oh, and acknowledging we are STILL in a global pandemic could also help. Too many folks believe the pandemic is over.

Happy #Hanukkah!
Today is the first day of #Hanukkah, which is also known as the Festival of Lights. A candle is lit on top of a menorah to commemorate each night of the Jewish holiday. In total, 8 candles will be lit in honor of 8 days of Hanukkah.

Siri: what’s the opposite of helping Arizona’s children succeed and thrive.
Rep Steve Kaiser wants to amend 1487 complaints to include school districts and charters. Meaning, any lawmaker can ask the attorney general to investigate whether districts violate the law and withhold 10% of their annual budgets if so. #HB2009 azleg.gov/legtext/55leg/2R/b…
