Another great School Forum with Luke Howarth and local teachers, parents and school leaders from Petrie. Great to talk about the curriculum, more support for Chaplains and tackling the impact of social media on mental health.

Good on NSW for bringing forward plans to get students back to school.   I hope Vic and ACT also look at their vaccination rates and plans to see if they can replicate NSW. @SkyNewsAust

Lockdowns have had enormous impacts on kids, inc a 25-50% rise in diagnosis & treatment of eating disorders. Today @greghuntmp & @InsideOutInst announced a 10 year national strategy to tackle this, in addition to $13m for a national eating disorder centre announced in our budget.

The left look after their own, don’t they? Even casting the vicious troll Mike Carlton as a victim. I guess it doesn’t count if you are only denigrating Jews and conservative women as he has done. He is one of the most vile contributors on Twitter but is a victim to the SMH.

Our national curriculum is more important now than ever. It must lift standards. It must embed evidence-based practices. It must give an optimistic view of our nation. I won’t be supporting anything less.
