As the world witnesses the terror of the return of the Taliban being visited upon Afghanistan, we again thank our ADF veterans who served so magnificently during the 20 year NATO-led mission. Your country is incredibly proud of you & your service in defence of Australian values.

The Coalition has deported foreign criminals at a record rate. We’ll continue to keep Australians safe by ensuring our laws allow us to deport even more serious criminals. Labor must back these changes to the Migration Act - or explain why they will not. dailymail.co.uk/news/article…

The murder of Sir David Amess is distressing for all who believe in democracy. Hearing Kim Leadbeater speak about it was devastating. My condolences to his family and to all his parliamentary colleagues.

I’m saddened by the passing of Eddie Jaku at the end of a very long and full life. He taught the world about the importance of kindness, happiness, friendship and love in his book ‘The Happiest Man on Earth’. May his memory be a blessing to his family and to those who knew him.

After 16 years of being ignored by Labor the delivery of the North West Rail Line by a Coalition Government was one of the most important restorations of faith in Government for our community.

Led by @GladysB as transport minister, this immensely successful construction project (one of the largest rail tunnels in the southern hemisphere) was completed in record time and well under budget.

The Premier’s track record of competance, delivery and hard work in her entire time in government will always be remembered by NorthWest Sydney and NSW. Today is a sad day but also one to be grateful to a very successful Minister and NSW Premier.
