In case you doubted this is the new McCarthyism
The department says critical race theory is not taught in Mississippi schools. That didn’t stop Virginia Henry, who claims she had the names of eight teachers who are teaching #CRT. Henry didn’t name names.

It now looks inevitable that the U.S. COVID death toll will reach 1 million. A stunning and numbing loss.
More than 3,000 American Covid deaths reported today, 7-day average > 2,500, and the sharp continued rise indicates this peak may exceed that before there were vaccines. Which is unfathomable.

The United States is so anti-worker that in the middle of a pandemic the New York Times is referring to workers gaining minimal class consciousness as a “disease”.
Something infectious is spreading through the work force. Its symptoms present in a spate of two-week notices. Its transmission is visible in real time. And few bosses seem to know how to inoculate their staff against this quitagion. nyti.ms/3Am1BXI

I wouldn't call Twitter's rejection of bad copyright removal notices a "drop in compliance." It's 100% compliant with the DMCA to reject non-DMCA-compliant notices.

This is correct, but it treats "identity" as something only Catholics and Jews and Blacks and women have. There's a long history of identity politics in Supreme Court appointments because for the first 175+ years of our history, being a white male was a prerequisite for the job.
There’s a long history of identity politics in Supreme Court appointments. For decades there was an unofficial Catholic Seat and Jewish seat. Reagan ran on appointing a woman. Bush Sr. made sure to replace a Black justice with another.
