Starvation and food insufficiency, e.g., in Congo, Sudan, Yemen, has not been due to the lack of novel genes in crops, but war, sanctions, policies of neocolonial powers. How will genetically engineered crops help save Afghanistan? Were they starving before the U.S. arrived?

Deja vu. Why sugar beet farmers should not be granted a derogation to use #neonics. I wrote this 1 year ago but the situation remains exactly the same. wcl.org.uk/poisoning-the-env… @PAN_UK

Did you catch this? The Netflix show, Queer Eye, shared my quote on their episode that aired last night! "Hunger is not caused by a scarcity of food, but a scarcity of democracy." I am so honored!

Unredacted Feb 2020 emails between top experts discussing a possible lab-origin of Covid-19 has been made available by @GOPoversight. Jeremy Farrar: "He (Mike) is bothered by the furin site and has a hard time explain that as an event outside the lab." republicans-oversight.house.…

How strange to read emails putting forward strong suspicions about furin cleavage site insertions and serial passage from some of the very scientists who have spent the past two years rubbishing such suspicions as "conspiracy theories". Shame on them.
Replying to @TheSeeker268
Bob Garry: "I really can’t think of a plausible natural scenario where you get from the bat virus or one very similar to it to nCoV where you insert exactly 4 amino acids 12 nucleotide that all have to be added at the exact same time to gain this function.."

Few appreciate that Milgram carefully explained to the participants that they were participating in a scientific expt. What he therefore actually showed is that ppl will obey scientists, so the parallel with the holocaust is strong bcs that was #Darwinism in action, i.e. science
President Macron might do well to learn a lesson from the most famous psychology study of all time. Milgram's 'obedience studies' are often recalled as showing that people obey orders, no matter how extreme. Actually they show the precise opposite. theguardian.com/world/2022/j…

So far, we haven't noticed accountability to be a feature of this pandemic. Despite the best efforts of @R_H_Ebright
"A Rhode Island hospital is dealing with a Covid-19 outbreak with patients after it asked staff who had tested positive, but were asymptomatic, to come in due to a staffing shortage." (One hopes the hospital administrators will be held accountable.) nbcnews.com/news/us-news/out…

Interesting because the lab leak omicron people will jump all over this and say Omicron was engineered and released which then creates the false premise that Covid was engineered which can easily be discredited by conflicted scientists

. @andrewwhittaker may have a case here. The paper itself is very weak and, in a previous paper (Shan et al,. 2021), the identical authors claimed they had "data-driven support for the natural origin of SARS-CoV-2" which was also super weak. #OriginOfCovid #MMPtheory #Lableak

The all-hands media freak-out over Dr Malone on Rogan suggesting we’re in the grips of an engineered mass psychosis offers support for his thesis. Manipulation of the public “mind” has been the power class’s Manhattan Project 2.0 for decades. Now their puppets are playing shocked
