Due to lack of precipitation and predicted weather events, CAL FIRE has suspended burn permits in Monterey and San Benito Counties at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021. This temporary suspension will last until a reduction in fire hazard.

CAL FIRE in San Benito Co have begun to receive #COVID19 vaccines. “I’m excited to be part of the process & look forward to the day masks are no longer necessary” said Asst Chief Matt Streck as he received COVID vaccination from San Benito Co Public Health Services
