Trump's war on the free press--his "Enemy of the People"--escalated to a new and dangerous height yesterday, unveiling the first indictment in our history of a publisher: for the crime of committing unauthorized journalism.
“It’s a very serious assault on the First Amendment. A clear attempt to rescind the freedom of the press” - @DanielEllsberg speaking w/ @SharminiPeries #FreeJulian #Assange therealnews.com/stories/dani…

His war is with Fake news. He's stated his love for WikiLeaks dozens of times. Either you are disengenuous or ignorant. Which is it?

There is a difference between free press telling the truth to the world and the "enemy of the people" press doing the bidding of the democrats. When the press is pushing an agenda they are not the press they are political puppets. & sadly todays so called press are just puppets

I despise Trump, but you guys need to get your facts straight. I expected better of you, Mr. Ellsberg. If you actually *read* the indictment, Assange was charged for crimes in violation of Title 18, Sections 371, 1030(a)(1), 1030(a)(2), 1030(c)(2)(B)(ii).

Trump actually used that phrase in reference to FAKE NEWS. While there's some subjectivity about what exactly FAKE NEWS is, it;'s not obvious that he means strictly the Press. Also, you're making this a partisan issue, which it really isn't. Remember Obama?
