Any species that would build nuclear weapons cannot be trusted with them. Because there is no reason to build them except to stand them up against other nuclear weapons, which engenders an arms race that leads eventually to war & oblivion.

Yes, especially now, when nations are waking up to the fact that they have been like puppets for decades! And that a most basic human right, the right to be free of any unnatural influence applied without one's knowledge and impacting on the way one thinks and acts, was violated.

Well at least this species has been able to evade nuclear wars for more than 70 years, I think that's quite an accomplishment in light people having extreme negative views and practicing extreme measures. That's a miracle and I'm optimistic for our future.
