The American press has remained in denial for 40 years--since my case--that the Espionage Act has wording that could be aimed directly at them. Now they're staring down the barrel of that Act, which could be used against American journalists and publishers for doing journalism.
Pentagon Papers whistleblower @DanielEllsberg says Julian Assange's extradition trial puts U.S. journalists at risk. "The American press is staring right down the barrel at the use of the Espionage Act against American journalists and publishers for doing journalism."

👏So true! And Julian Assange will be used as a scapegoat and his punishment will be toward journalists who tells the truth. They want to silence and/or cut down as much as the 1st Amendment as they can.

Thank you Mr. Ellsberg. I read your work long ago. It opened the eyes of this young man about the government.

It's time to repeal the Espionage Act, which was passed in June 1917 and made it a crime for any person to interfere with the U.S. armed forces in World War I. This Act has no relevance in 2020 & is only being used to subvert free speech and democracy.

Most of the fake press aren't worried because they're not really journalists and they know they'll tow any line no matter how ridiculous and therefore this will never hurt them.
