RGB installed! You can blame @paulhardware for the glorious RGB :) They're pretty cool, WiFi controllable and some nice features in the app. Anyway bling bling

Yikes. Stuff like this is why we secret shopped our Eve 4K unit for testing, using address and contact details not related to us. It cost us a stupid amount on shipping and took months to arrive. Haven't reviewed it yet but more content for the review

We know that Ultra settings often don't make much sense, but how do medium settings stack up? Are they good enough to make you think twice about a GPU upgrade? piped.kavin.rocks/watch?v=inF-z_Td…

Just to clarify DDR5 is not backwards compatible with DDR4, it’s a completely different DIMM slot. There will be DDR4 and DDR5 Alder Lake motherboards, but you have to pick which memory type you want to use, this is very important information for those upgrading.

This is in relation to comments made at 5:10 in the video and onwards. Intel is not offering backwards support for DDR4 memory on their DDR5 boards, the modules physically don't fit in the DIMM slots. I can personally confirm this, even with a hammer on box it didn't fit ;)

Got my @SpaceXStarlink kit today and installed it right away (setup in the new office). It's significantly better than the fixed wireless NBN connection I was limited to previously. Getting 250 down / 30 - 40 up, NBN is at best 50 down / 5 up :S Ping is around 30 - 40ms so okay.

I've been playing the Battlefield 2042 beta on our Ryzen 9 5950X test system and the stuttering is horrible! Is anyone else seeing the same thing? I've tried both the 6900 XT and RTX 3090, it's pretty bad. Average fps seems to be around 140 fps with really poor 1% / 0.1% lows.

After almost a week of benchmarking Far Cry 6 I woke up to this. Way easier to spot the RT effects.

Ultra quality setting presets in most PC games are dumb. They hurt frame rate for very little improvement to visuals. Find out why you should probably play on High settings instead in our latest video piped.kavin.rocks/watch?v=f1n1sIQM…

Pretty sure that's just the Mandela effect.
Replying to @GamersNexus
@HardwareUnboxed Much like the XT CPUs, some products are just instantly forgotten when they leave the review cycle, thus leading to my questioning of reality.
