Also I’m gonna be reductive here but Hegel and Marx are white supremacists. Marx justified the British colonisation of India; Hegel writes about the inferiority of African culture + other stuff The Hegelian-Marxist dialectic is useful but naturally as a black man I’m more drawn
Some Marxists collapse the struggles of those who aren’t working class white men, into the paradigm of class, (mis)understanding others’ lived experiences as simply a dialectical negation of capitalism or class warfare in the form of patriarchy, white supremacy etc. (1/2)

IMO to understand the lived experiences and struggles of those who face the wrath of capitalism, (neo)colonialism, racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, islamophobia, anti-semitism, anti-Romani sentiment, etc and the many interlocking, interlaping, dare I say (2/3)

intersecting forms of domination that combine two or more of these abuses - to fully understand this, reducing things to a simple dialectical relationship can’t tackle its causes or systemic nature as comprehensively as intersectionality does. Not just abuses, but even (3/4)

solutions such as Negritude, have been woefully misunderstood (by the likes of Jean-Paul Sarte) in reducing it to a dialectical negation; Sarte’s rearticulation of Negritude is laden with racist tropes that perhaps could’ve been avoided with an intersectional approach. (4/5)

Fanon criticises this dialectical reduction in BSWM pp. 368-369 as a “blow that can never be forgotten”. To summarise, the dialectical method cannot engage with and interrogate humanity’s diverse lived experiences, as comprehensively as intersectionality has done so far. (5/5)

Also there’s something incredibly sinister about Crown Jewels. I could never wear shiny stones knowing people literally died for me to have this.

Meghan Markle is mixed race - on the lighter side. Seeing all the racism, abuse, and death threats she receives, scares me. I can’t help but think, if this is how they treat someone who is half-white, how would the media and establishment treat a dark skin person like me?

Hitler published Mein Kampf in 1925, by the early 1930s his feelings towards Jewish people weren’t exactly a secret. In fact, the first of Hitler’s anti-Jewish laws came around in 1933, just months after this photo. Bootlickers stop trying to whitewash the monarchy challenge…
Replying to @Ma1ick
fun fact- -this is early 1930s, when Hitler was hailed as a saviour of Germany who would lead it out of its economic misery and restore the country to its place among the great nations. he was popular across social classes and the wider world. -the Queen is literally 6 here💀

Seriously though imagine cherrypicking history and non ironically pretending Hitler was unanimously seen as a force for good in the 1930s lmao… and for what? To justify the very grown up King Edward’s decision to teach his children Nazi salutes? Monarchists get in the 🗑 please
