So this is a bit overdue, but I sat down and played @GirlsMakeGames 's Lune by Bridgette for the Change the Game 2019 design challenge. It is a fairly short, but pleasantly poignant Interactive Fiction about being an AI and what that means between machinery and humanity in a-

as one of the artists, @dumplingowl , is my cousin. But the overall package is a story of hope and understanding, and I think Bridgette's vision is realized brilliantly in the final work. Lune's available on the Google Play app store for free, and I'd say is definitely worth it.

Played @EchodogGames Signs of the Sojourner as part of the itch.io Palestine bundle. It's a narrative experience with some deck-builder mechanics and lovely character designs. Part of that narrative is the importance and difficulty of communication between people-

and the way the game plays out, sometimes you just can't have a successful conversation. The game aspect can be frustrating for players, because this "some conversations just won't go well" aspect is a state of not winning. But given that it's a narrative, it's easier to accept-

that sometimes you're just too tired and don't have the right words to click with people. I recommend this title, because the narrative is interesting and the art is beautiful. I do recommend going in knowing that you're not in it to win, but to experience the sojourner's life.

As a result of the itch.io Palestine bundle, I played @Burasto 's Long Gone Days. A charming anti-war JRPG-style game, with beautiful art (sprite and portrait) and a story about trying to fight against a world that wants war politically. Still in-dev but worth it.

Many hundreds of incredible games have already signed up to be part of the Indie Bundle for Palestinian Aid. If you haven't, consider supporting humanitarian aid for Palestine with your games by submitting them here. If you can't, RT to spread the word? itch.io/t/1411702/indie-bund…

You're not going to believe this, but the day I posted this thread, I decided to do my bi-annual search on Mrs. Dynamite to see if anything new had surfaced... ...and discovered a rare cab had *just* been found! [Thread]

Flyers exist, in both English and Japanese, but US trade magazines never mention it being released, no cabinets have surfaced, and the game has never been dumped. I don't think it was ever released in Japan either. Which is sad, because that NAME...!

Alright, trans twitter. I'm in need of medical assistance and I've been without a General Practitioner for over a year now. I'm set up with Sansum, which I've heard is anti-trans but I'm bad about keeping up with that. Tl;dr: Am I okay to stick with Sansum or should I search?

Just finished @TeamToadhouse 's Good Lookin' Home Cookin', and it's an absolutely lovely vignette about building acceptance of South East Asian culture through food. The cast is fun, the spirit of making a world where everyone feels they belong is delightful, and it helps build-

up the world that Call Me Cera is going to take place in. I'm now very interested in Call Me Cera because the town she is moving to feels so alive already. I also appreciate that GLHC explains a bit of the "why" for loving Ramadan. The game is short, but does a ton. Check it out!

Just completed @oracleandbone's A Summer's End - Hong Kong 1986. I definitely recommend it to anyone who would like a short and poignant WLW visual novel. I'm having trouble finding the right words to describe how it cleverly blends concerns of Hong Kong's place with an upcoming-
