Bad behavior by Americans during an appalling public health crisis and a democratic election. To me, that was the biggest scandal in 2020, will continue to be the biggest scandal in 2021, and will rank among the biggest scandals in American history. All +244 years of it.
If we were to pump in another 2 trillion hard-earned US tax dollars, sacrifice thousands more American lives, under three more US Presidents over another 20 years in the same corrupt, chaotic, and inept country, would we obtain a better outcome?

Yesterday, at the conclusion of a productive & enjoyable clinical appointment with one of my Veterans, I explained that I would soon be transitioning to another clinic & that I would no longer have the privilege of overseeing his medical care.
As I escorted him to his check-out, he turned to me & said, "Thank you, Doctor. I won't ever forget you." And I was like, OMG, no other human being had ever expressed that sentiment to me." The little things in life!

Today, in a bipartisan vote, the House voted to impeach and hold President Trump accountable. Now, the process continues to the Senate—and I hope they’ll deal with their Constitutional responsibilities on impeachment while also working on the other urgent business of this nation.
