Eberhard Arnold, founder of the Bruderhof, d Nov 22 1935. After WWI he passed up his career as a theologian to see, instead, if it was possible to live according to the Sermon on the Mount. In effect, he rediscovered the spirit of the 16th century Anabaptists.
His community practiced adult baptism, strict nonviolence, property shared in common. In the 1930 they barely escaped Nazi Germany. They live on today. Highly recommend their @PloughBooks

When entertaining his friend Mr Kim the master always served his favorite roast beef, extra rare. One time a drop of blood spilled on the tablecloth. The servants watched in horror as it gradually spread to cover the entire cloth, dripping onto the floor. #TolstoysTalesofTrump
