While #JamesCone was dying in 2018 he wrote his memoir: the story of "the making of a black theologian." He could not foresee the #BLM awakening of '20 that prompted an outpouring of interest in his earlier books. Yet his last work has been overlooked. @OrbisBooks @UnionSeminary

Another approach: if you want leaders with a stake in the future and not just the preservation of their own DNA, try electing people who care about other people’s children, or about children who don’t look like their own. Or who feel a sense of kinship with other living creatures
