Think you'll find the Sermon on the Mount is about HOW to do that which is to be known and loved. Maybe you've forgotten the second answer in the Catechism? KNOW, LOVE & SERVE God! You lot want to forget the first two & serve only the 'god' you find in the mirror!

If you think this is controversial, you might be the problem with the Church.
Scathing, Mr. Ellsberg. Well played. (Seriously)
There is a lot of cruelty, ugliness, and heartlessness in the Catholic hierarchy.

"Fraud of the Anti Christ" so terrifying for this prelate, is in reality the failure of the Church to defend the poor, the weak and the innocent from the demands of those who specialise in terror and greed. The Code of Canon Law was a death sentence to these Christians.
Why not both? You are implying that clarity is opposed to charity, I reject that. Jesus told us that we need to worship in the spirit and in truth

Retired cardinals with too much time in their hands and nothing else to do.
