Today's gospel (Mt 25:31-46): "I was hungry and you fed me," describes the Works of Mercy. A key text for Dorothy Day and other saints: "The mystery of the poor is this: that they are Jesus and what we do for them we for him." But we are also judged by what we fail to do.
