I am about 70 pages in and I find it an enjoyable read. His details on the preconclave days provide much needed context and background. I’m sure the rest of it will be equally fascinating. Thanks, Jerry, for your writing effort and thank you to Orbis for publishing it!

I was able to watch "live" when Francis became Pope. From seeing the white smoke to hearing the name Jorge Bergoglio (and then googling it) to the dramatic moment when he walked out to the balcony. One of the moments of my life I will never forget. Would love to read back story.

My book club loved #robertharris' #Conclave. I'm sure, with the current trend of writing #NonFiction like #fiction it will be a ripping yarn. No more outrageous than the #overthetop #rhetoric of #Vatican "senior staff" in recent days
