Today marks the 100th anniversary of passage of the 19th Amendment granting women the right to vote. Remembering the courage of women like Lucy Burns, repeatedly arrested, beaten, force-fed while on hunger strike. (She shared a cell with #DorothyDay in the Occoquan workhouse.)
