Replying to @USCCB
That’s it? No words about the calculated cruelty, the inhumane, degrading conditions inflicted on children, the separation of families, the callous indifference to human dignity? Were there no words from Jesus that came to mind—perhaps, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me”?

It feels like this was focused-grouped to offer the most tepid response so as not to upset anybody.
I hope @ThomasWenski @BishopWester @BpDiMarzio @ashleyfeasley heeds these strong words
“Whatsoever you do to the least of My brothers, THAT you do unto ME.” — Jesus
The abject cruelty is reminiscent of Nazi Germany. Punishing the children is abhorrent. Reunite the families! May God have mercy on their souls. Mother Mary, pray for all refugees, especially the children. Intercede for them to Jesus, so they may be reunited with parents!🙏🏼✝️
