Feast of St Mary Magdalene. What if the church had been founded on the rock of faith of a woman who did not abandon Jesus when he was being killed, who went to his tomb to anoint his tortured body, who was the first to see the risen Lord, and the first to proclaim this good news?

the Holy Spirit was gendered female in Aramaic the language of Jesus. & Mary the Magdalene was revered as the "Apostle to the Apostles" & the one who brought the Good News of the risen Holy One. Her role as life partner to Jesus was celebrated in some Gnostic circles.

You know sometimes I'm thinking of something "deep" and run into a knot. So I ramble about it to my wife. She can untie the knot like it was a shoelace. This I think shows the special genius of women. Let's remember Eve was created complete while man is missing a rib.

What if you never said "what if" again? It might assist your understanding of absolutely everything, and save an awful lot of time.

I think we would talk less about faith vs. doubt and more about faithfulness/fidelity.

He was just a man...we have to commiserate Him.
