It was magical. We sent him to PedalHeads, which doesn't seem to operate in DC, but I'm sure there's something similar. Three hours a day for five days and now he's zooming around the block.

Many years ago, on my third child, I discovered a magic technique for teaching kids to ride a bike in 15 minutes. Rather than patent my discovery i am now prepared to share this gift with the 🌎 (you’re welcome):

It involves sitting kid on bike and letting them coast straight downhill on a very gentle incline. The bike remains upright and after a few tries they are ready to start pedaling. (Make sure there is nothing to crash into.) Amazing results! 🚴‍♂️
