Found a used copy of this bio online that wasn't crazy expensive & ordered it, in part because I read every Gandhi bio I can, this is translated from Gujarati, but also because I have to see for myself how it's possible to produce an 8.5 pound, 2,400 pp, paperback.📚
Narayan Desai was the son of Gandhi’s secretary, Mahadev Desai, who died in prison. I visited his widow and family in Gujarat last fall. Noble lineage.
