Too bad he didn’t work on “Keys of the Kingdom,” which was really good! Inspired the vocations of many Maryknollers.

Keys of the Kingdom, as well as the book "Calvary in China," written by a Maryknoll missionary about his experiences in China at the beginning of the Communist revolution (I read it as a tragic sequel to Keys), inspired a lifelong fascination in me with Chinese Catholicism.

I saw the Peck film and read Calvary on China (by Robert W Greene) as a child.
