Your father is a courageous hero for the ages. I feel this first-hand. My father, in 1951, was a nuclear veteran stationed in the Nevada desert. In 1968 he died, age 40, from his earlier exposure to the ionizing radiation at that test site. His nuclear winter came too soon.
