I asked #SrWendy about prayer: "Prayer is each one of us facing God in Jesus, with the Holy Spirit speaking His praise within us. Since each of us is different how this comes about must be different. I think the danger of prayer books is suggesting there’s a right way to do it.

"I find that most people seem to think there is a right way, and everybody knows it except them... Having said that, I think there are 3 levels of prayer. There’s the completely silent and wordless deep prayer, which not everybody is offered...

"And then there’s the next layer of prayer in which we’re thinking about God or talking about Him or reading about Him. And then there’s the third layer: everything is prayer at this level, whether we peel potatoes or read a detective story or do our taxes or drive a car, etc.
