On 6/21 1964 3 civil rights activists in Neshoba Co. Miss., James Chaney, Mickey Schwerner, and Andrew Goodman, were lynched by the KKK in one of the most notorious crimes of that era. Arrested by a sheriff, they were delivered to the Klan, beaten, shot, buried in an earthen dam.
