Her early life was conventional, but eventually she decided to give her life “to God and to service.” She spent 15 yrs preparing for an undefined mission, weaning herself from material possessions and adjusting herself spiritually for the demands of a “God-centered existence.”

One day she felt uplifted: “Every flower, every bush, every tree seemed to wear a halo…and flecks of gold fell like slanted rain through the air.” In this moment she discerned her mission: to go on constant pilgrimage for peace, rousing people from apathy and awakening hearts.
