Today Oct 11 is the 94th birthday of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, who has returned to Vietnam to spend his remaining years. Remembering our first meeting when I was 17, with gratitude for the privilege of editing his essential writings. @OrbisBooks

Thank you, Robert, for correcting that crucial item. Actually, I had hesitated to write that sentence but thought it shouldn't be elided. So glad this towering figure of enlightenment and peace is yet among us, in every sense -- and not the least in these dystopian times.
