The @netflix documentary "My Octopus Teacher" is an extraordinary meditation on what it would mean to be in relationship with Creation. If there is that much to learn from a mollusk, what other lessons are we missing?

i'd totally teach "My Octopus Teacher" as an ethnographic film. Framed as "classic anthropology" it also allows discussion of colonialism. Further interesting to think how "pristine natures" is a 21st c stand in for "pristine cultures"
