The story of St Nicholas, depicts a world where children were subject to abuse, trafficking, and violence: in one case providing dowries to 3 girls who would otherwise be sold into prostitution, in another reviving 3 boys who had been killed and pickled. Merry Christmas!

St Nicholas day is a big deal 4kids back in the old country-Czechoslovakia.We had 2clean our boots put them in the window& he would secretly put treats & little presents in.Also would show up w an angel & devil &scare the livin bejeeezus outta us

St Nicolas is still the largest event for children in the Netherlands. It has become part of our tradition. All children get a gift
