Hold on! I used to love this with my Italian grandparents using these Amaretto cookies but when I've tried to show my kids, it doesn't work anymore, as if they changed the wrapper. What cookie are you using? Restore my joy & wonder!

But... but... did you do this recently or this an old video? It seems like this hasn't worked with recent batches of Amaretti cookies, as if they changed the paper and took out the "magic" from it. My kids think I'm a familiar because I haven't been able to recreate this.
