Trump is a malignant narcissist, not a sociopath. There's a big difference. Malignant narcissism is comprised of *psychopathy,* manipulativeness, sadism, and paranoia, in addition to narcissism. MNs live in a reality of their own making, and their words reflect that.

Malignant narcissism is also not NPD and / or ASPD. It's more florid (paranoia) and more deadly, because it runs on unquenchable vindictiveness and rage.

Its core feature is psychopathy -- an absence of conscience (empathy, guilt, shame, and understanding of higher values). MN is a person w/o conscience, driven by an insatiable need for power, adulation, and revenge, augmented by aggrieved entitlement, and seasoned by paranoia.

Imagine putting such a person in position of ultimate power.
