Thing is, a wallaby was seen recently bouncing through central Hereford in the snow, so what’s impossible nowadays? I mean, climate change, rewilding ....
I'm afraid that you have to eliminate the wallaby. I read about the small colonies of wallabies in the English countryside a few years ago (descendants of escaped zoo animals). I was curious whether there were kangaroos in the wild anywhere besides Australia (apparently not).
But a few wallabies, however, have found a home in Britain. They are elusive, and there are maybe only a few hundred, but they are there.
