The first rule of religion is to care for those in your charge. In Catholicism, the first rule is to find fault with everyone who does not subscribe to your interpretation of scripture. Not too unlike the Imams of Radical Islam who cry death to the non-believers.

I used to be a Roman Catholic. I'm recovering from the likes of these Bishops. I find @POTUS to be closer to what I was taught as a Roman Catholic then the Bishops.

This is exactly the feeling I have struggled to put in words. I have had the very people that have taught me my faith tell me I'm a bad Catholic for not supporting a sociopath. These articles keep me grounded in my faith.

I left the Catholic church years ago. It is mired in hypocrisy and, personally, I cannot cite one positive or inspirational experience. It is in itself a cult.
