she accomplished afterward came through the frustration of her heart's desire--a universe set in motion because of Forster's decision. Had he married her, an alternative universe would have been set in motion--who knows whether happier for her or the world? But she would not...

You attended Dorothy's funeral mass; did you meet Forster?

Yes. And I met him before. He used to frame prints of art work to send to Dorothy. Once I was delegated to pick up some of those gifts.

Incredibly courageous of her to be so in love with FB and yet stick to her decision about marriage. I think many people (myself included) would have found a way to justify remaining in the relationship esp as he was father of her child. She certainly had the strength of a saint!
