I’m begging Catholics everywhere to stop this. She wasn’t defending purity- she was fighting a rapist who murdered her.
Her purity was no where in question- rape doesn’t infringe upon one’s purity. And name this sin, it is rape.
Today we commemorate Bl. Karolina Kozka (1898-1914). She had strong faith and willingness to catechize to neighbors and children alike. She recited rosaries and was an ardent devotee to the Mother of God. She was killed by a Russian soldier as she was defending her purity.
