Another approach: if you want leaders with a stake in the future and not just the preservation of their own DNA, try electing people who care about other people’s children, or about children who don’t look like their own. Or who feel a sense of kinship with other living creatures

#VanGogh died on July 29 1890. Yrs ago I tried to get permission to use his letters in a volume for the @OrbisBooks #ModernSpiritualMasters Series. The publisher refused on grounds that Van Gogh “is not a spiritual master.” No matter, Carol Berry made her own translations.
