This should free mathematicians to focus more on problems that require creative solutions - interdisciplinary work, completely novel domains, and imagining and thinking through broader contexts. I think? Not my field but that’s my prediction

Absolutely agree with this. Have been having conversation with artists who feel despite some loss of the journey, generative AI does get them to wonderful destinations. Feel it will be similar for math.
