A simple criterion for a follower of Christ on social media: Would I post this if I knew it would be shown on the screen at my church this Sunday morning?

Today Christ-followers continue the ancient tradition of publicly, gladly, faithfully, unashamedly gathering to worship God on the first day of the week. By grace we will not–we must not–be the generation that surrenders this tradition to the world, the flesh, and the devil.

October is the best month because of the harmonic convergence of baseball, football, and hunting seasons. It has no rivals. August in Alabama is the price we pay for October.

What better way to celebrate?
57-years ago today ‘Gilligan's Island' premiered on CBS... (and I watched it every day after school for years)

Jesus was never satisfied with the number of disciples, always seeking to include more. Jesus never compromised the standards of discipleship, always demanding self-denying love. Choosing between numerical growth and spiritual health is a false dilemma. Let's ask for both.

I'm a Calvinist who'd rather hang out with an Arminian who walks by the Spirit than a Calvinist who doesn't.

If this is centrism, it is indeed dangerous because it is subjective moral relativism. But if one's worldview affirms truth as fixed and absolute, corresponding to reality, then objective, knowable truth is at the center. I'm that kind of centrist.
Replying to @JuliusGoat
Centrism in America is an ideology that desires to occupy the middle ground between political poles, no matter where those poles are located, no matter what that middle ground is. It's an empty position that will always benefit the most malicious side.
