Low even for the @guardian’s standards…
The Guardian published an obituary for Desmond Tutu which omitted his support for Palestinian rights , naming of Israeli oppression of the Palestinians as a form of apartheid and his support for BDS. It then deleted people's comments on its website highlighting this omission.

While some of these documents date back to January 2020 and were frequently debated by the lawyers (as Kromberg did not make himself available for cross-examination), they are important because they give a fuller picture of the US's case and the promises they make.

I'm yet to go through these in full due to work on other Assange-related work, but I know many people were interested in seeing these so wanted to share. I'm chasing up on the final declaration and hope to publish shortly.

It just struck me that on virtually every piece of coverage in relation to Jamal Khashoggi / Saudi Arabia, there’s absolutely no mention of Raif Badawi who’s been imprisoned since 2012. Sad…

(2/) The first complaint is on behalf of Assange himself. Another, according to Cantarero, is a complaint filed by German journalists, WL staff and Assange's lawyers. A third complaint is from @SMaurizi. The fourth is from former Ecuadorean president Rafael Correa.

(5/) Cantarero reports that an Ecuadorean security guard working for Promsecurity was identified in taking part in the attempt. As I revealed in a recent piece, that individual is Jiorge Washington Delgado Ávila, 49, with an address in Alicante in Spain. tareqhaddad.com/investigatio…
