Dems are in a pickle. They REGULARLY question elections, but have been asserting 2020--which we all know was unlike any in our history--is beyond question. Recent tangled rhetoric is an attempt to reclaim their long-held stance of doubting GOP election wins.
Tinfoil hat time: The View co-host Ana Navarro presses Jen Psaki with an unhinged conspiracy theory that the results of the 2022 midterms will not be free, fair, and legitimate. "So without reforms, why should voters have faith in the legitimacy of the next election?"

Aaron Rodgers is a great quarterback and a lock for the Hall of Fame, but he is not the greatest ever, and that’s obvious. The greatest ever plays in Tampa.
Aaron Rodgers is the greatest Quarterback to ever play in the NFL and tonight’s performance changes nothing. And to all the people calling him Aaron Fraudgers, is he supposed to kick and punt the ball too? This game is not on Aaron.

Since Democrats love taking names off things, wonder how this one got overlooked. Parts of Route 7 in Virginia are still named after the leader of the Massive Resistance movement in which Virginia Democrats opposed school integration.

This reaction accidentally reveals that their argument that people can’t vote is bogus. Does someone who can go to kickboxing class or chill with a margarita somehow have a problem voting? Her audience is liberal activists who drive their Volvos to kickboxing class.
Jen Psaki: "My advice to everyone out there who's frustrated, sad, angry, pissed off, feel those emotions, go to a kickboxing class, have a margarita..." UNREAL. How is this the "advice" that is now coming from the White House?

It’s surprising that @SecretaryPete, who repaired potholes with moderate success as mayor of South Bend, missed this problem of 5G interfering with airplanes. He likes trains, rides a bike, and repaired some potholes. Perfect choice to run transportation. cnn.com/2022/01/19/business/…

They really should let Biden be in more meetings so he knows what he’s supposed to say.

At what point did you abandon that story you were writing? Around January 21, 2021?
One year ago, we started to write an American story of hope, not fear. Of unity, not division. Of light, not darkness. An American story of decency and dignity. Of love and of healing. Of greatness and of goodness. May this be the story that continues to guide us forward.

“challenged” is a funny way to describe “completely discredited.”
NPR's Nina Totenberg's reporting on Justices Gorsuch & Sotomayor and masking has been challenged by the right; Chief Justice Roberts now appears to deny thrust of her story. Totenberg & NPR stand by it - I'm told NPR's public editor will post on this later today.

No, Biden said just yesterday that this was not happening.
Flint, Michigan schools closed indefinitely. This district's minority enrollment is 90%. 80% of students are in living in poverty. You want to talk about economic inequality, talk to your union bosses keeping these kids and families locked out. mlive.com/news/flint/2022/01…

Yesterday, Biden said about the 2022 election: “It easily could be illegitimate.” As much as Psaki might wish that Biden didn’t say this, he most certainly did.
Lets be clear: @potus was not casting doubt on the legitimacy of the 2022 election. He was making the opposite point: In 2020, a record number of voters turned out in the face of a pandemic, and election officials made sure they could vote and have those votes counted.

She clearly didn’t watch the same press conference the rest of us did. But she’s correct - Biden made news alright. Putin was loving it.
Pres Biden, in the longest news conference in presidential history, made news, pushed back on critics, called out lies, took responsibility for mistakes he believes he made, expressed surprise at GOP, talked foreign policy and didn't lash out on reporters. Quite the change.

It's not a "voting rights" bill. No one's rights are at stake. It's an attempt to enforce federal control over state elections and loosen security.
Senate Republicans once again blocked a voting rights bill put forward by Democrats in the latest partisan showdown over an issue Democrats are urgently seeking to spotlight despite lacking the votes to pass the legislation. cnn.it/3fLeTU0
