The Democrats should fire the electorate and hire a new one
Democratic strategist @PaulBegala: "I think the problem for the Democrats right now is not that they have bad leaders. They have bad followers."

Watching streams of people wear KN95s to walk into a restaurant and then take them off to eat in an indoor, crowded space in Boston where cases are ridiculously high is a reminder of how confusing and ineffective guidance and practices are right now.

Considering the new CDC regulations flying in the face of the available #COVID19 science, along with the insistence that in person schools and business remain open, the #BidenHarris team is actively trying to kill people.

Here's some being sucked into storm drains material for nightmare fuel.
Officials are not surveying the nation’s aging stormwater drainage systems, which are being taxed beyond capacity by record downpours, to flag openings that could pose a hazard and install grates to prevent people from being sucked in. propub.li/3eJqeDR

Yes, and we all hate you.
This is dumb. All of us who grew up in the Northeast/Midwest/anywhere with winter watch the "OMG I HAVE TO BUY BREADDDDDD" freakouts and school/church/business closures with a mix of confusion and amusement. Here in Virginia they'll close schools because of *cold*. I mean...wut?

The first 2 are either illegal or impractical but Schumer could've pulled both Manchin and Sinema's committee assignments months ago
Take Manchin into a back room, tell him federal investigators are going to look into his daughter’s price-fixing; tell him the military bases are moving out of West Virginia; tell him he’s off his committees… Or he can play ball.

Happy birthday to the absolute king. Does anyone have that clip of him talking shit about David Cronenberg giving him the high hat?
JOHN CARPENTER on the set of Halloween and pulling no punches when asked about Spielberg, Scorsese and Altman. "I don't care for them."

Weird because the idea of adequate resources not being available to help people to address a problem seems like y’all’s thing
Growing up in the northeast I will never understand the closing of stores and restaurants when there is barely an inch of snow on the ground yet.

The state of coverage on COVID-19 death reporting. The World Socialist Web Site is ringing the alarm. Business Insider, whose CEO is banned from securities trading for making "materially misleading" statements, claims our warnings are "misleading." Silence elsewhere.
