James Altucher showed back up in crypto yesterday and the market nukes within 24 hours? Truly poetic

Watched @ProfDavidNutt present last night at the launch of his new book. These two images are quite striking: how different psychedelics massively increase activity between different functioning areas of the brain. @Drug_Science

.@ProfDavidNutt: “Moving psilocybin from Schedule 1 to Schedule 2 would remove 80% of the bureaucratic burden to conduct more research.” In his view, they should simply be classified as medication.

Historically ‘dinner’ was defined as the main meal of the day, eaten around midday. What we now call dinner used to be called supper.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends. The best food of any festive occasion, no question.

This seems to me a pretty clear reason to not look for too much meaning in either

I’m late to this but the season 8 finale of The Blacklist was probably the most incredible television I’ve ever seen. 8 years of twists, mysteries, reveals covered with more mysteries, and every single loose end tied up in one episode with the most insane twist. Blew my mind.

I lost faith that they were going to be able to tie up all the threads that they had let out. I thought I’d been led on as past mysteries just seemed to have been let go, like we should forget they had been mentioned. But they had a complete plan for 8 years and let nothing on.

Proof of metaverse demand depends on how you define metaverse, really. In a lot of definitions you could include online gaming. I think the item to work through is defining what it actually means, because right now it kind of seems to mean anything.

100%. My “polite reasoning” tweets get a fraction of the engagement of my dunks (which I’m always trying to cut down on)

Being polite is more likely to persuade people, being direct/biting can be better at motivating those who already support you.

This is the reason I’ve always been uncomfortable about using price performance as an indicator of success. It takes away from every other quality when something else outperforms you, which will inevitably happen at some point in any large market

Ha yes I actually deliberately kept it simple for the first one to try the unaltered product “like they used to make” before adding more spices, but chili flakes and and a few others are a must for the next batch.
