I for one am comforted that we live in a country where people can express their opinions, peacefully protest, & have a public debate But sometime the loud ill -informed voices are not representative of how people feel. Paying it too much attention isn’t how to make policy.7/

The $551 Trillion in top end losses driven by climate change is based on warming of 3.7C. If we limit warming to 1.5C then damages are estimated at 10X less ($54 Trillion). An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure! Research from U of East Anglia. tyndall.ac.uk/sites/default/…
When someone moans about $3.5 trillion spending over 10 years, perhaps remind them that the estimates for the cost of unchecked climate change top out at $551 trillion, which is more money than there is on earth at the moment.

Joe Manchin raked in $400,000 from the oil and gas industry last quarter, including contributions from traditionally Republican donors. Now he’s opposing clean energy legislation. It’s not called coincidence. It’s called oligarchy.

I just called my health insurance company to check on coverage and the very nice customer service person explained the way it works is, "We usually mess it up, so you have to call and say [script]. Then we process it wrong again. Don't get discouraged and call a second time" WHAT

Every few months for 20 years a new video of a Boston Dynamics robot doing funny human stuff would drop and every time it was clear that the endgame was arming them and releasing them in cities with buggy facial recognition software and a list of everyone behind on rent.
