I think I’ve tried every writing app under the sun, but every time I come back to @iAWriter. Nothing is as focussed on the writing experience. I love that it’s all about helping me write words, not about bells and whistles of the app. One of my most treasured apps ❤️

Agreed! I use @draftsapp for shorter stuff (and everything in between) - and @iAWriter for longer form.

Been an @iAWriter fan for many years, use it to bulk dump my thoughts and tidy up later in other tools

It really shines for long-form writing. I look at word processors and think “how could you possibly write with all those distractions around you”. Focus mode, where everything other than the current sentence disappears, is especially good.

Somewhat the same. Although I do use it in tandem with Highland 2 which allows me to put in [[ notes ]] and traverse a tricky script via these (& other md/fountain elements). Also use the bin to save things I've cut - not that this is far from impossible with IA writer.

Yes, it is great - I have used it a lot over the years - however now pretty much a @ulyssesapp user for most writing.

I tried to use Ulysses, which is functionally very rich, but couldn’t get on with it at all. IAWriter just has a mysterious something that makes me want to write!
