Before big companies start throwing money, headcount, or technical solutions at problems, I think we need to *listen* to maintainers. Listen to the people who DO the work. They might ask you to help in a different way. And different maintainers may have different suggestions.

Great insights: the supply chain and specific call outs to Log4j, Heartbleed & Apache Straths, and learnings from them. “Community is defined by those who show up and do the work” I learned this ^ the hard way. It’s rare to have people you can count to be in for the long run
