Victor Frankl was in an untenable exogenous situation. He was forced to divorce stimulus and response to see things clearly. You can't tell that to a child or a protest movement. Some things have to blow up in order to heal.

Dude how?! How do you disconnect from carnal stimuli - I mean depending on individual development, they can be arbitrary things like drinking water. What if stimuli is triggered when eating basic food and water?
