I need everybody who does not have children to understand that those of us who do have children are in a no man's land between roughly 4P pm to 9pm on weekdays. We have dinner and homework and bath time and play time and bedtime to deal with. We are not available for anything!

Law prof friends: Has anyone successfully placed an article considerably shorter than 25K words in a standard, general law review (not a symposium piece, or an essay, or an online companion)? Law reviews, would love to hear your thoughts too! #lawtwitter #academictwitter

#AcademicTwitter #lawtwitter - what do you think about receiving reprints? Is sending them a good/useful way to show what I've been working on, or is it a waste of trees for no reason? Are you more inclined to read an article you might not have otherwise if you get one?

The comments in this thread are…a smorgasbord.
I go out on tour in January. My movie musical was just released (with 6 new original songs)… Nickelodeon told me today that I’m not allowed to perform/add any of the songs from the film into my show. These are MY songs, MY voice, MY writing. Does this seem fair???

My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied
