DnD advice: The right snacks can make or break a game. Keep tabs on your players' food allergies so that you can thin out the party when a fight seems too easy.

If advertisers can throw their weight in here that can make a real difference.

If proven, this is some pretty alarming evidence of harm to advertisers in these documented price increases after Google and Facebook sealed their deal together. This is before you even get to any brand harm in supporting Facebook's platforms. /15

This is disgusting. Why? Because encryption is not the problem except to the extent it blocks bulk surveillance and they aren’t specifically calling for that. And the grooming first takes place on platforms (like Minecraft etc) where encryption makes no sense anyway.

But by “think of the children-ing” encryption these sorts of campaigns literally poison the well, making this one of the “four horsemen of the cyberpocalypse” when we have real problems in this area that need to be addressed get dismissed out of hand.

very instructive that the free, public, universal testing initiative is a breeze to access and the privatized, means-tested insurance reimbursement scheme is a bureaucratic nightmare

You would think that the heir to a frozen fish fortune would go all-in Tankie for “Mr Lets Restore the USSR”
Tucker: Imagine if Mexico fell under the direct military control of China. We would see that as a threat. There would be no reason for that. That’s how Russia views NATO control of Ukraine and why wouldn’t they?

It's just occurred to me why vinegar-based hot sauces can fix almost any food sin. They're literally concentrated doses of salt+acid+spice. Almost any kind of blandness can be fixed by some amount of those 3 things. The only major flavor missing is 'fat'.

The pup makes the most important point!
Chief Justice Roberts could’ve put the onus on Justice Gorsuch to participate remotely after he refused the reasonable request, a safer result for everyone in the courtroom, but Roberts decided to let the burden fall on Justice Sotomayor instead.

I am not sorry if you think I’m overreacting to the way a man treats a bot. If a man believes it’s okay to talk/think way under any circumstance, I’m going to assume it’s a reflection of how he treats humans, especially women, in the real world, unless proven otherwise.

What I don’t understand is why Tornado Cash outputs aren not simply blocked by exchanges? Both direct and indirect (e.g. on-chain swaps that are traceable) should be blocked for AML violation.
Crypto.com, which froze withdrawals yesterday, announced that someone hacked the platform for $15 million in ether (4,600 ETH). This money is now being laundered through Ethereum mixer Tornado Cash in batches of 1,000 ETH coindesk.com/business/2022/0…

Like, I am not an economist by any sense but the whole concept just doesn't make any sense. If players are making money to play the game, and studios are still making enough money to fund development and ongoing updates, where does all the money come from?

If you're thinking play to earn (shorthand p2e) is going to be the next big thing, here's an interesting thought experiment...
